made switching characters work a little bit better though there's still more work to be done

As you can see in the video, the camera actually continues to follow you now after you switch characters and monsters attack you as well. Three issues remain though:

1. The original character stills plays its death animation when you die
2. Dying after changing characters makes the player not be able to do anything anymore
3. You still can't switch back to the original character

I hope to fix most of these issues tomorrow.
