functionality for switching characters is almost complete
All those bugs that I listed yesterday are almost fixed, I just have to change some things so the player can switch back and forth between characters because for whatever reason it's taking forever for me to figure out.
Once that's done I'll make a system that allows for characters to do other stuff while you aren't playing as them. Characters that you aren't currently playing as won't be able to help you in combat, instead they will just repeat an animation that makes it seem like they're doing something. For example, if the player switches from Jonar to Jullus, Jonar might go run to a specific part of the level and fight a gremlin (the gremlin wouldn't actually be an enemy that you can interact with; it would just be part of the animation). It'll be easy to implement (at least compared to what I'm doing right now) but it will take a lot of work to make characters do different things while you aren't playing as them in every level.
