last day of devtober!
Overall, I'm very glad that I took part in devtober. I've gotten a lot done on Jonar's Bizarre Adventure, and while there's still a long way to go before the game is finished, this is still by far the month where I've gotten the most done on the game. I am pretty burnt out though, so I think for the most part unless there is some kind of special event like devtober I will only be working on the game on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. As a result, devlogs will happen a lot less now and won't really abide by any schedule; I'll pretty much just make them whenever I want. What could be cool would be releasing devlogs with themes, so like one devlog would have tons of enemies and another one would be all about bug fixes. This could be an incentive for me to work on the game in a more organized fashion instead of just jumping to different aspects of the game whenever I feel like.
As for what this devlog is actually about, the image above is concept art for one of the bosses. Pretty much he'll be extremely tall with ridiculously long legs but only uses his head in combat for some reason. I'm also scrapping the boss with the sniper rifle because I feel like it's almost too stupid for this game somehow.
Oh yeah, and I'll also put a playable version of the game in the devtober jam even though the game isn't really fully playable yet, though I'll have to fix the bug with the camera first because otherwise you won't really be able to fight any enemies. That might take a couple days though so just be patient. Not like anyone will actually read this though...
