made parallax effect, added voice acting and also fixed some bugs/issues

I got many things done this week, the biggest being that parallax effect which you can find at the end of the video above. I'm still planning on adding a couple extra things to that scene (probably just some details on the hills farther in the background since right now they're completely bare) but it's basically done.

The other big addition is in-game voice acting. From now on I won't really be touching in-game voice acting until the first part is finished besides fixing Jullus's ridiculous charge attack scream which will require changing how his dash fundamentally works.

Some bugs/issues were also fixed. The biggest one was that you couldn't open the menu in combat levels (though the issue was actually that the buttons just weren't spawning at the correct coordinates). Another big issue was that enemies weren't getting destroyed after dying sometimes which wouldn't have been that big of an issue in of itself if it weren't for that it also made levels where you have to kill all enemies impossible. Besides that the chain system was also reworked a little bit so that the max speed of the player isn't as stupid. I've also spent a lot of time trying to make Jullus less broken but I still have more work to do on that.

Lastly, I've also started to actually figure out how I'll make cutscenes. I found this program called OpenToonz that let's you do 2D animations. I would just use the built in animation tool in gamemaker but OpenToonz is much more robust and it's actually made for large animations with lots of different parts rather than simple little animations that repeat forever. Even then I'm not planning on actually starting to make cutscenes for Part 1 until everything else is finished which will take a couple weeks. Oh yeah, and I want to make Part 1 be done by the end of this month. Holy shit, this is going to be a lot of work...
